Yoga Mat Cleaner | Recipe

It’s so important to keep your yoga props clean! I keep my cleaner and some rags in a wet/dry bag so that if the cleaner leaks no problem. I can also have a place for damp clothes! Don’t forget to pop your rags into the wash when you get home! Of course, if you practice from home you won’t need to travel with your cleaner. I repurposed a rose water bottle and rubber band from a bunch of carrots (non-slip) to make my container.

• Small Glass spray bottle (plastics don’t last with essential oils)
• Witch hazel
• Filtered water
• Tea tree oil (anti everything except a bad attitude)
• 5-15 drops of another essential oil(s) for scent.

Fill your bottle half way with witch hazel. Add 10 drops of tea tree oil. Add additional oil for scent. Fill the rest of the way with filtered water. Shake and there you have it…yoga mat cleaner.
