- 2 1/4 teaspoons active dry yeast
- 1-2 tablespoons honey. Sugar can be substituted.
- 1 cup very warm water
- 2-3 cups flour (depending on humidity, you might need less/more)
- 2 tablespoons of olive oil
- 1 teaspoon of salt
Heat oven to 450°. Proof yeast with honey and water. Add in oil and salt. Add in flours. Mix the dough and need by hand or use a stand mixer with a dough hook. Let it rest in a warm place for 5 minutes.

Place a silicone baking mat in a cookie pan that has a little depth to it. Coat the silicone mat with olive oil. Use a very generous amount-this allows the bottom to “fry”.Bake until golden. Brush with melted vegan butter and sprinkle with a mixture of salt, basil, oregano, onion powder and garlic powder. You can also add cheese and put it back into the oven to melt.
